Manually Approve or Reject Registered device

Once the agent is installed on the target device, it gets registered. However, before it becomes a part of the KACE Cloud system, an administrator needs to approve the device registration.

You can approve or reject the device registration.

Approve Device Registration:

Follow the steps to approve device registration,

1. Go to Devices tab> Devices filter> Enrollment Status
2. Select Awaiting Approval. The list of devices that are in ‘Awaiting Approval’ status display.
3. Click Approve to accept the device registration.
4. Click Confirm.
   The status of the device changes to Enrolled.

Reject Device Registration:

Follow the steps to decline the device registration,.

1. Go to Devices tab> Devices filter> Enrollment Status
2. Select Awaiting Approval. The list of devices that are in ‘Awaiting Approval’ status display.
3. Click Reject to decline the device registration.
4. Click Confirm. The device status changes to Rejected.
   The rejected device remains in the system until it is deleted. Attempting to re-register a rejected device will fail.
